In March 2023, Hilda Baci announced her ambitious endeavor to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. Despite the initial record held by Lata Tondon, lasting 87 hours and 45 minutes, Hilda set her sights on a remarkable 100 hours of continuous cooking.

On May 11, 2023, she embarked on her record-breaking attempt titled “Cook-a-thon.” Hilda’s journey of endurance and passion captured the nation’s attention, with high-profile figures like Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and Tiwa Savage showing their support.

Amidst cheers and overwhelming support from fans, Hilda broke the record on May 15, 2023, with a staggering 93 hours and 11 minutes of non-stop cooking. Her achievement brought accolades, and her name resonated across social media and traditional platforms.

A Graceful Exit and Congratulations to Alan Fisher:
In a turn of events in November 2023, Hilda graciously handed over her Guinness World Record title to Alan Fisher, an Irish chef who cooked for an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes. Despite the loss, Hilda congratulated Fisher, expressing pride in the culinary community’s achievements.
